My work is both figurative and abstract, it is theatrical and involves collaboration, movement and mark making
Whilst working across a range of media and processes, I have maintained focus on my principal enquiry - an exploration of how my individual interior life is made externally manifest through collaboration with others.
My many years of professional involvement in the fashion industry, combined with an interest in mask, costume and the body, provide a rich visual resource that informs all my practice. A longstanding interest in identity and gender provide much of my work’s theoretical underpinning.
I also work as an inclusive arts practitioner running workshops with marginalized groups including mental health, visual impairment, learning disabilities.
