As facilitator my role is to hold the space and set the intention/learning, then sit back and allow the Alchemy of the group to unfold. I have witnessed special moments that occur time and again during my workshops
Running workshops is vital to my work as an artist, it’s like singing into a cave and hearing a thousand voices replying - the song that comes back is like a new golden thread that I can weave with.

Moving fabric sculpture – learning disabled participants
As facilitator and researcher I undertook a twelve week project at The Phoenix Arts in Brighton as part of a masters degree at The University of Brighton. Working with participants exploring the question, ‘How can learning disabled and non learning disabled participants move together in a fabric sculpture’.

Viewcraft - Learners with visual impairment
Teaching painting once a week for this charity at Herstmonceux village hall in East Sussex . One of my clients had often commented that when she painted she no longer felt pain in her body.

Collaborative etchings –invitation to collaborate
Whilst exhibiting on my Masters I wanted to extend an invitation to the viewer, offering a hand in collaboration. I taped prepared etching plates to the floor immediately outside the entrance to my work. Visitors were invited to dance, stamp or walk over the plates to make their mark.
