One of the many great parts of being an artist is that I get to work on projects where I can create opportunities for others, especially other artists. 

These talks feature nine artists and workshops and are FREE to join online, heres the link.

TITLE : "Organic Motion: Exploring the core of Movement in Physical Theatre"

SHORT DESCRIPTION Discover the flow of your body's natural rhythms in our workshop, "Organic Motion." This engaging session focuses on the organicity of movement within physical theatre, guiding participants to connect deeply with their personal history. Through collaborative and personal exercises, we'll explore our natural movement patterns to create authentic, powerful performances. Whether you're an experienced performer or new to physical theatre, this workshop offers a personal journey into the basics of movement, encouraging creativity, spontaneity, and improvisation. TITLE Rewoven Stories: Upcycle Your Clothing with Elaine Foster-Gandey

SHORT DESCRIPTION: Join us for an exciting upcycling workshop led by internationally renowned artist Elaine Foster-Gandey, the artist and curator behind the Hope Dress project. Currently exhibited at Palazzo Mora’s Personal Structures exhibition until November 22nd, Elaine brings her expertise and creative flair to this hands-on session. What to Bring:

A T-shirt or any old item of clothing you no longer wear.

What You'll Learn:

Elaine will guide you through the process of transforming your old clothing into something new and beautiful through weaving techniques.

Suitable for all skill levels.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn from a master artist and give new life to your old garments!

TITLE Hapa Zome Happiness

SHORT DESCRIPTION Find some cathartic rhythm as you hammer flowers and leaves to extract their natural colour. This workshop might get noisy!

Hapa Zome means ‘leaf dye’ and is a traditional Japanese method of working with plants and natural fabric or paper to make serendipitous art that captures the beauty of nature.

SHORT DESCRIPTIONDiscover the art of printmaking in our drypoint workshop, blending ancient techniques with sustainable, modern practices. Open to all skill levels, this session explores the history and innovation of a versatile printmaking method. You'll experiment with recycled materials and traditional tools to create handmade prints, from designing plates to hand printing on paper. Choose to produce a small edition of identical prints or play with colourful, eco-friendly inks. Join us for a fun, educational experience that celebrates the rich heritage of printmaking!
