Hope dress touring

The New year started off well with the Hope Dress touring to it’s new location at Sackville School in Hildenborough Kent. Victoria Phelps of Sackville school told me how the dress received a lot of attention and compliments during its time at the school and that students would come and stand in front of the dress looking up at it often in awe.

The dress was on the move again last week and has just been installed at its new location at Beechwood School on the Pembury Road, Tunbridge Wells in Kent. The school is set in 23 acres of beautiful parkland in the centre of Tunbridge Wells, less than one hour from London. The school is centred on a grand Victorian Mansion built in 1855 in the style of Osborne House, Queen Victoria's home on the Isle of Wight.

You can visit the school and see the dress in situ at Beechwood School every Tuesday 5-6pm. Free entry/ timed tickets are available for comfort and safety on eventbrite. There will be talks and weaving demonstrations scheduled during this hour each Tuesday.
